ISO Standards & Quality Awards

Exacta has been ISO certified since 2009; all of its processes are conducted in compliance with ISO standards and its quality manual. ISO 9001 certification is a demonstration of Exacta’s commitment to a rigorous quality management system. It requires regular audits by a third party certification body, which Exacta has passed annually.

Exacta has also implemented and received certification in the following industry specific quality management systems:

NSGCISNational Standard Guide for Community Interpreting Services has been developed to provide the highest level of professionalism and reliability on the part of “Community Interpretation” service providers. Community interpreting (also known as institutional interpreting) enables communication between non-English proficiency or limited-English proficiency speakers and providers of public services such as: Healthcare, Government agencies, Community centres, Legal settings, Educational institutions and Social services.

CGSB 131.10 The Canadian General Standards Board has published this manual as national standards which sets out as procedural requirement for delivering translation services to the federal and provincial governmental agencies.

EN15038 – This quality standard has been developed especially for translation service providers published by the European Committee for Standardization to ensure consistent quality of the service.
